Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 25, 2026

Overview

EatPilot ("we", "our", "the app") is a product of Link Heart Limited (nanorhino.com). EatPilot is a food recommendation app. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.

Data We Collect

Sign in with Apple

You may optionally sign in using your Apple ID. When you do, Apple may share your name and email address (or a private relay address) with us. This information is used solely to identify your account and is stored securely on our servers. You can use EatPilot without signing in — all core features work anonymously.

Data We Do Not Collect

Third-Party Services

We use Google Places API to find restaurant information near your location. Your approximate location is sent to Google as part of this query; Google's privacy policy applies to their processing. We use AI services to generate meal recommendations — your food preferences and location are sent to these services, but not your name, email, or Apple ID.

Data Storage

Personal preferences and meal history are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults and the app's Documents directory. Account credentials (session tokens) are stored in your device's secure Keychain. Server-side data includes your anonymous identifier, usage events, and (if signed in) your Apple ID profile information.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app. This permanently removes all server-side data associated with your account, including your profile, usage history, and session tokens. Local data on your device can be removed by deleting the app.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
